Ground Penetrating radar (or GPR) is a technology that uses radar waves to create an image of the subsurface. It is used extenstively in new and remodel construction projects to identify and mark the location of rebar, conduits, post tensioned cables, utilities etc. The test is non destructive and can scan through most solid materials. The scan is radiation free and can be undertaken even as existing work proceeds elsewhere on site.
